The Yujiro series, closely resembling the Hanmā series, is crafted by Kunihira, also known as Masutani Hamono, a small knife house situated in the city of Echizen in Fukui Prefecture. Led by blacksmith Kunio Masutani, the establishment strives to deliver high-quality stainless steel knives at an affordable price. The series features a polished blade with a full tang and an ergonomic Western handle, known for its beautiful stainless blade and high comfort levels. This combination provides an excellent balance between performance and durability.

Santoku knives are the 'go-to' knives for many chefs, as they are known as general-purpose kitchen knives. Santoku translates to 'three uses' or 'three virtues' and is ideal for slicing, chopping, and dicing, featuring a straight edge with a narrow-foot blade. They are highly appreciated by users doing a lot of precision work, thanks to the light, narrow blade, which can make extra-thin cuts. While they are well-suited for all, because of their smaller size, they tend to be particularly pleasing to chefs with smaller hands.
