Made in Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, by the skilled hands of independent blacksmith Yosimitu Kajiya, this knife embodies a legacy of craftsmanship. With unwavering dedication, he personally oversees every step of the knife-making process, drawing from 84 years of accumulated expertise as a third-generation blacksmith.

Once imported, it was custom assembled at Kakushin's knife shop, where it was fitted with a one-of-a-kind Wa-style handle made from Amboyna Burl with a Buffalo Horn Ferrule, making it truly unique.
