The Seki Sanbonsugi series is an affordable kitchen collection made in Japan, featuring a ergonomic rosewood Western handle that may be perceived as rustic and slightly rougher around the edges. Constructed using San-Mai techniques, it boasts an AUS8 cutting core known for its forgiving nature, paired with 420J2 soft stainless steel cladding to enhance its beautiful Japanese finish.

Petty knives are a mix between slicing and paring knives known as the ideal blade for most food preparations that require added precision. They feature scalloped edges and blades that are slightly longer than standard paring knives. Heavily used by chefs for their sharp edges, the petty is very efficient for slicing fruits, vegetables, meats or poultry and even mincing garlic, onions and delicate herbs.
