Steel Composition:

• Chromium: Nearly 2% more chromium when compared to other high-end steels which enhances the knife's corrosion resistance, making it suitable for extended outdoor use, even in rainy conditions.
• Carbon: More carbon content when compared to the competition, it is classified as a High-Carbon Stainless Steel peeking at 0.70%. This amplifies the edge's wear resistance and increases the knife's hardness to around 59HRC (+/-1).
• Nitrogen: A low and controled content which similar to carbon but on the high vs low scale, it strengthens and hardens the steel. Under 0,10% of content, unlike carbon alone, nitrogen improves steel strength without compromising toughness.
• Silicon: For ideal deoxidization, it removes oxygen during steelmaking, refining the grain structure. This enhances the steel's resistance to cracking or breaking under stress.
• Phosphorus & Sulfur: Added in small quantities, they enhance machinability and diminish the likelihood of chipping, particularly when slicing through fish bones.
