Back in, and dialed in. The Xoay Series returns with that same bold identity — but refined where it matters. The updated profile brings a taller heel, giving you more knuckle clearance and a more confident feel on the board, especially on longer sessions. It’s a subtle change on paper, but in hand, it makes a real difference.
Each blade is hand-forged by Nguyên in the Hanoi region, known for his expressive style and willingness to push beyond the typical. The cladding carries that signature black Damascus, layered with bronze, nickel, and brass — giving it depth and movement that shifts depending on the light. Underneath, a 52100 carbon steel core keeps things grounded with pure performance: clean edge, strong retention, and a very direct feel through product.
Thin behind the edge, smooth in the cut, and surprisingly controlled for something that looks this aggressive.
This one was brought together in-house with a custom handle that takes it in a different direction. Stabilized maple with a soft grey tone sets the base — subtle, but full of detail once you look closer. It’s paired with a deep black ferrule that anchors the whole piece, followed by a grey-blue translucent tip that adds just enough contrast without pulling attention away from the blade. The transition flows naturally, almost like the handle fades into itself.
