Hand-forged by Kakushin’s long-time collaborator Nguyên in Hanoi, Vietnam, this one-of-a-kind piece features striking Copper Damascus cladding over a finely tuned carbon-steel core. Shaped in a honesuki-inspired profile with a double bevel, it keeps a similar control of a traditional honesuki while gaining extra versatility—making it just as comfortable for poultry work as it is for small, precise utility tasks. Forged thin behind the edge, it delivers that effortless, silky glide only a handmade knife can achieve. Every mark and Damascus wave tells its own story—no two blades are ever alike.
At the shop, we paired the blade with a truly unique custom epoxy handle, built from multiple layered epoxies fused into a translucent block. With a dark ferrule, the transition from blade to handle is clean and keeps a nice flow, making the knife light, well-balanced, and exceptionally responsive in hand.
This knife is genuinely one of one—assembled, fitted, and finished at Kakushin. Once it’s gone, there won’t be another quite like it.

Every product listed on our website is physically in stock at our shop and typically ships within 24 hours — giving us enough time for sharpening and proper packaging.
The only exceptions are custom knife assemblies or engraving, which may require 3-5 days before shipping. Everything is done in-house, so even with the extra steps, it’s still exceptionally fast.
Canadian orders can say goodbye to unexpected duties, additional customs fees and exchange rate fluctuations; all our prices are clear and upfront.
For international orders, we take care of providing the declarations documents on items from foreign countries.
