Sogo Elastomer Japanese Cutting Board
This Japanese-made cutting board is crafted from soft elastomer resin—a flexible, knife-friendly material that’s got antibacterial properties built right in. It’s super gentle on your blades and offers better edge contact than typical wood or plastic boards. And while it does get scratched like any board, the cuts don’t spread easily, so it keeps looking good and holding up over time.
Lightweight (just 920g) and easy to handle, it’s a solid size at approx. 43.5 x 23.5 x 1 cm—big enough for real prep work, but still manageable for quick cleanups. The soft resin is heat-resistant up to 100°C, making it tough enough for daily use..
Just a few care tips:

Even though it’s antibacterial, wash it with neutral detergent after use and dry it before storing.

Over time, some discoloration might show up—totally normal. If it bothers you, a little bleach will do the trick.

And because of the nature of elastomer, we recommend avoiding the dishwasher to prevent any warping.

Every product listed on our website is physically in stock at our shop and typically ships within 24 hours — giving us enough time for sharpening and proper packaging.
The only exceptions are custom knife assemblies or engraving, which may require 3-5 days before shipping. Everything is done in-house, so even with the extra steps, it’s still exceptionally fast.
Canadian orders can say goodbye to unexpected duties, additional customs fees and exchange rate fluctuations; all our prices are clear and upfront.
For international orders, we take care of providing the declarations documents on items from foreign countries.
