Hand-forged by Toru Tomura and sharpened by Tateo Myojin in Kochi, Japan, this 270mm Yanagiba is a classic sushi blade with serious pedigree. Long, graceful, and razor-sharp, it’s designed for pulling clean, single strokes through fish—ideal for sashimi, nigiri prep, and ultra-precise slicing.
Made from Aogami Blue #2 carbon steel with a traditional kurouchi finish, this blade blends rustic aesthetics with top-tier performance. The single bevel grind (right-handed) gives you incredible control and cleaner cuts with less tearing—exactly what you want when working with delicate ingredients.
