Proudly made in Japan, this series is best sellers due to it's price and performance. With a beautiful hammered “Tsuchime” finish, it's known to release food quicker from the blade compared other models. Hon-Warikomi, clad blade made of VG-1 Stainless steel core sandwiched by SUS410 stainless steel, it provides excellent edge retention with a nice look.

Kengata like gyuto knives are known as the only knife needed in the kitchen. The blades typically range around 210mm in length and are appreciated for their taller heel. Gyuto’s are a great option for most as they have a reasonably flat profile toward the heel for chopping, a belly toward the tip of the blade for rock cutting, and a pointed tip for precision work. which is why many chefs prefer such model over many others.
