Is it straight or upside down? None of the two; it's perfect! Arguably speaking, it's actually one of the most comfortable knives we have held in a long time.
Assembled like this on purpose by Mike at Kakushin; with a mid-size blade and a high heel Made in Japan, it deserved a unique handle custom shaped in France and we made it fit. Similar to a Bunka but with a slight spin towards a Hakata it is an ideal multiple-purpose knife compared to the popular Santoku but with a tip of a Kiritsuke.
In addition to showing off it's unique look, this model is great for dicing, slicing and mincing nearly any types of ingredients. It will quickly become your go-to.
