After receiving the blade from Nguyên, we completed it here at Kakushin by hand-assembling it with a custom olive wood handle featuring a translucent epoxy tip that suspends a fish skeleton within the resin. The warm, organic grain of the olive wood flows beautifully into the crystal-blue tip, where the delicate skeletal structure appears to float inside the epoxy.
